Marketing and content, 2020 to 2023

Meet Diana

Diana Luciana ran marketing for Speak Better Spanish from 2020 to 2023. She wrote 51 of the posts on this blog and edited 95 of our YouTube videos. She is no longer with us, but she is still a good friend of the team.

How Diana joined Speak Better Spanish

I met Diana while traveling in Peru. We became friends, and when I found out she had a degree in marketing, I asked for her help.

For the next few years she ran our marketing. She wrote guides to Spanish grammar and vocabulary for the blog, and she edited the videos on our YouTube channel.

What Diana made

Diana wrote 51 posts on this blog between 2020 and 2023: grammar guides like por and para and ser and estar, everyday vocabulary for food, family, work and travel, and Mexican slang.

She is credited as the editor of 95 videos on the Speak Better Spanish YouTube channel, and she appears in the guacamole video, where we made it from scratch the Mexican way.

How her posts are kept current

Diana’s posts stay on the blog under her name, because they are her work. The Speak Better Spanish team, led by Hannah Pinkerton, keeps them up to date, so the Spanish matches how we coach today.
