About Speak Better Spanish
Speak Better Spanish is an online Spanish fluency coaching program for English-speaking adults, founded by Hannah Pinkerton in 2014 and run from Monterrey, Mexico.
How it started
I founded Speak Better Spanish in 2014. A few years after college I was working in a profession that had nothing to do with Spanish, and something was missing. I wanted Spanish back in my day-to-day life, I wanted to see more of the world, and I wanted to start an online business.
I realized that many adults learn Spanish as a hobby and want to reach conversational fluency, but don’t have the resources or the people to speak with regularly. They just need a little extra help. So Rompiendo Las Barreras (breaking barriers) was born, and a few years later it became Speak Better Spanish.
