Speak Better Spanish was founded by Hannah in 2014. After graduating from college a few years earlier and entering the workforce in a non-Spanish-related profession, Hannah felt that something was missing. She wanted to bring Spanish back as a part of her day-to-day life. At the same time, she wanted to see more of the world and wished to start an online business. Hannah realized that many adults start learning Spanish as a hobby and want to reach conversational fluency, but may lack the resources and connections to speak Spanish on a regular basis and just need a little extra help to reach their goal. Thus Rompiendo Las Barreras (breaking barriers) was born and renamed Speak Better Spanish a few years later.
