Cuando le digo chócalas, levanta su patita y la pone contra la mía.

Tengo que darle premios aún después de que le doy indicaciones, pero poco a poco deberá ir dejando de esperar que se le premie y sólo hará la indicación que se le dé. 

LUCY: Wow, increíble, me dejó sorprendida. Me gusta mucho tu perrita. 

MARIA: Gracias. Es super buena. Es mi primer mascota y por eso decidí llevarla a entrenar. Estaba empezando a romper cosas en la casa y no sabía cómo quitarle esas malas costumbres. 

LUCY: ¿Y a dónde la estás llevando?

MARIA: Mi papá tiene un amigo que es etólogo y entrenador de perros, es muy bueno, sabe mucho. 

LUCY: Qué bien, creo que mi perro Lucky necesita clases también jaja, a veces hace muchos destrozos y no hace caso. 

MARIA: Si gustas te puedo pasar el contacto, vas a ver que te va a ayudar a entender mucho a tu perro. 

LUCY: Sí, por favor. Oye y ¿qué otras cosas sabe hacer Molly? 

MARIA: Ah pues también sabe quedarse quieta cuando me espera afuera de la tienda o cuando le voy a dar su comida se espera hasta que le doy la indicación de que puede comer. 

LUCY: Uy no, lucky se avienta en cuanto ve que llevo el plato con croquetas. 

MARIA: Jajaja sí te creo. Mira también sabe llevar su correa ella sola, sólo le digo “tómala”, también sabe caminar junto a mí sin irse de mi lado, para eso sólo le doy la indicación de “junto”, eso me ha sido muy útil cuando pasamos cerca de otros perros o mucha gente. 

LUCY: Sigo sorprendida, nunca había visto a un perro saber hacer tantas cosas.  

MARIA: Sí y todavía hay más. Sabe buscar cosas, por ahora sólo le he enseñado a buscar su correa y algunas otras cosas que hay en casa, le doy el comando de “busca” y después lo que quiero que busque y sale corriendo a buscarlo, y siempre lo encuentra, aunque lo esconda muy bien, tiene un olfato increíble. 

LUCY: ¿Y es difícil practicar después de las clases?

MARIA: Más o menos, te soy sincera, sí requiere de mucha paciencia y constancia. Molly lleva 6 meses en adiestramiento, lo había dejado pero tuvimos que retomarlo porque se le estaban olvidando algunas cosas y yo no sabía cómo volverlas a enseñar.

LUCY: Bueno, creo que es algo que sí puedo hacer. 

MARIA: Sí, además el entrenador te va explicando.
