I took Hannah’s telenovela spanish conversation workshop and it was very fun! Speaking within a small group setting about a Netflix series helped me gain confidence speaking Spanish–the hardest part about learning a language! Hannah would help us out with new vocabulary and grammar as well, and send us meeting notes after each class. Hannah is patient and understanding and I really enjoyed having her as a teacher!
Hannah has been awesome to work with! I work with two other instructors who are Colombian. The thing I really appreciate about working with Hannah is that not only is she a great (and patient) Spanish teacher, she also can better explain and translate the differences in American and Spanish cultures. I have been studying Spanish on my own for years, using a variety of apps and online programs, and I enjoy doing that. I was very nervous about signing up for lessons with Hannah–you know, an actual LIVE person, that I would have to TALK to–but I took the plunge, and I am so glad I did! Hannah is so easy going, so knowledgable, so helpful, and a perfect complement to my online learning. Our lessons are free flowing, conversational, and FUN! I am gaining confidence in speaking, and making big improvements with every hour I spend with her. My favorite thing about our lessons is that as questions pop up, I can ask and get immediate answers, and that often takes us down another unexpected path of learning. I highly recommend Hannah for anyone interested in taking their Spanish study up to the next level. She will get you there!
Hannah is awesome! She is very knowledgeable, well prepared, tailors the lessons to your goals, and makes it fun….nothing worse than trying to learn something in a boring way. Plus she is so nice. I enjoy our times of “hanging” out. She is a very special person and I recommend her wholeheartedly!!.
I had spent many years limping through life/business with my broken Spanish, and when I finally decided to get my act together, I fortunately happened upon Hannah. She’s been amazing – she works with me at my pace and with my (very haphazard and bizarre) existing knowledge of Spanish, and is really flexible, which is helpful for me because I have a job which requires a lot of very unpredictable travel. Hannah is very motivated to help me learn and there are so many supplemental options that she provides along with our lessons, from workbooks to apps to meetups – but there’s no pressure so I can go at my pace while I still feel motivated. Not to mention she’s lots of fun, and a great teacher! I absolutely recommend her!
