Group Telenovela Conversation Courses
5-12 week courses
- The first and only online group telenovela based conversation courses in the world!
- 30 minute group sessions
- Fixed schedule
- Watch one episode of the chosen telenovela prior to each session
- Prepare questions, vocabulary, and thoughts to share with the group
- Students guide the flow of conversation
- Hannah answers questions and facilitates discussion
- Continue the discussion outside of class in the private Facebook group for each telenovela course

For Individuals
I usually work with individuals one on one, or all together in a group video chat session. If you are looking for classes for yourself and family/friends, please send me an email to discuss.
For Adults
Although I have taught families and children of all ages, I prefer to work with adults. I find it enjoyable to work with adults who have chosen to pursue learning Spanish and to make it a priority.
Group Classes
Although it can be very scary to speak Spanish in a group setting, group classes are a great way to practice your listening and conversation skills.

Principally, what you are buying is one-on-one time with a teacher. While this may seem to be somewhat obvious, I was not prepared for the result. These short conversation sessions have been a catalyst in terms of learning Spanish, with progress exceeding expectations.
I have spent some time thinking about this and it boils down to Hannah being a good teacher. Before I get hung for making a second obvious statement, I need to try to qualify this. This is not easy to do, for while I have a couple of thoughts on the subject, there is a nagging sense that I am still missing something.
Learning a language is about learning material and integrating it with what is known to date. As students, we will share some learning needs, while others may be unique to the individual.
A good teacher knows that moving new material into someone’s brain is more likely to occur when it is “tagged” with an emotion. These sessions are always light and cheerful and a sharp contrast to language classes decades ago when I was attending school. This emotional tagging is also absent in most of my self-directed care I am not exactly “bubbly” while reading a story, for example.
It does not take a student of languages long to realize that there is time well-spent and time well-wasted. They are measured in units of progress. I highly recommend that people consider trialing some time with Hannah.
