trip overview
Experience Cancun like a local, immerse yourself in the culture, enjoy the adventure, and improve your Spanish skills.
Day 1 – Arrive in the afternoon at the Cancun airport and take included transportation to our accommodations. After settling in, take advantage of your free time to explore the city, and later on, join your new friends for a welcome dinner.
Day 2 – Start the day with a delicious breakfast, followed up by a visit to Playa Langosta, a long white-sand beach with clear shallow waters. In the evening, immerse yourself in a pirate-themed show and enjoy the best dinner cruise aboard The Galleons of Captain Hook.
Day 3 – Get ready for a day trip to Chichén Itzá, an ancient Maya city, and sacred site. Chichen Itza was one of the most important city-states in pre-Hispanic America and is currently one of the most visited archaeological sites in Mexico. Explore the Maya ruins and let your mind and feet wander.
Day 4 – Start your day with breakfast at Cafe Nader, a famous spot among the locals. Take a walk around the city and experience the rhythm of Cancun firsthand. End the day with a tasty Mexican dinner and souvenir shopping in the evening.
Day 5 – It’s time to explore the Mexican jungle and the famous cenotes. We will ride ATVs and zipline through the jungle, and visit two cenotes (a natural water hole that gives access to spectacular caverns filled with fresh water on the surface and salt water deeper.) Between our trips, we will eat a traditional lunch in a Maya village.
Day 6 – Today we are taking a day trip to Isla Mujeres, a Mexican island in the Caribbean Sea. Fill your day with snorkeling, swimming, or simply enjoy your beach time and soak in the beautiful views. We will have a delicious lunch buffet, followed later on by a farewell group dinner.
Day 7 – On the final day of our adventure, wake up early to soak in the last morning in Cancun and have a farewell breakfast together. Say goodbye to your new friends and make your way back to the airport.
